Nov 1, 2020 Update

I prepared the table below which shows that for the United States so far we have had a less than 3% chance of Catching Covid-19 and if you are unfortunate enough to get it, about a 2.5% chance of dying.

It is likely that the total number of people who have caught Covid-19 is well understated. Many people do not have symptoms or they are mild. It is surprising to me that we don't have better numbers now.

And of course the disease is much more serious for older people and for people who have other health issues.

Best solution is not to catch it. Be careful. Wear your mask. Wash your hands. Keep your distance.

Stay Safe. This too shall pass. Sooner or later,
