COVID-19 Event Risk Assessment Planning Tool

Click for an interesting tool prepared by Georgia Tech that shows the chances of someone in the group having Covid-19 by County and Group size.

https://covid19risk.biosci.gatech.edu/

The map on the link shows the risk level of attending an event, given the event size and location.

You can reduce the risk that one case becomes many by wearing a mask, distancing, and gathering outdoors in smaller groups

The risk level is the estimated chance (0-100%) that at least 1 COVID-19 positive individual will be present at an event in a county, given the size of the
 event.

Chances for a Group of 20 people

Cook County (Chicago, IL)            52%

Sarasota, FL                                  34%

Or you can take your chances and see what happens. It is possible that if you do get it it won't be too bad and you might not pass it on to your family and friends.
